The Human.

They have never been helpless.

Humans have only deflected,

Or deceived,

Or dispirited.

So long as people have a vision,

Of life as it ought to be;

So long as they comprehend the full power

of an unfettered mind,

they can look at the world with confidence.

That they are not living in a sterile or hostile arena.

Basic purpose of human destiny do not lie outside him but within him.

LIFE is precious, not because of any universal prevalence it may have.

We rest; but a dream has power to poison sleep.

We rise; but one wandering thought pollutes a day. Resentful of being tired; but appreciate every achievement.

We feel, conceive, or reason; laugh or weep, embrace fond we or cast our cares away;

It is the time: for, be it joy or sorrow, the path of its departure still is free.

Man’s yesterday may never be like his ‘morrow; Nought may endure but mutability.

Untamed yet obedient.

My courage and resolution firm.

My hopes fluctuate, and my spirit often depressed. When I am glowing with the enthusiasm of success, there is no one to participate my joy;

Assailed by disappointment, no one will endeavor to sustain me in dejection.

I shall commit my thoughts to paper. Because no one will understand me. Until I find a person to concur with my thoughts, I’ll always keep them to my self.

People think that I’m a lunatic and even the hypocrite they see in me, but they never get to see my true heart and thoughts. They think I follow their course but I only follow the movements and keep to my routes and roots.

I like smiling and being happy mostly from silly things just because I want my teeth to have fresh air not because I like laughing. I am untamed yet obedient element; Nothing and Nobody can stop the determined heart and resolved will of a man.

I am a creature of double existence; Suffering misery and overwhelmed by disappointments yet when I retire into myself, I am like a celestial spirit, that has a halo around me, within whose circle no grief or folly ventures.

I have been tutored and refined by books and having intuitive discernment; quick but never failing power of judgment.

Keeping aside your bread and butter, jam jars can be removed. And your high-teas remain so high, way from the reach.

Of a daughter of Africa who will never be satisfied. The problem’s not ladies, the problem’s not men, the problem’s our children.. The culture is broken, manners are gone. What will young men do, who will they marry?

When they walk in the rain catching crowded buses, and sugar-daddies have cars which are a smooth transport…. when youth offers fish and chips and fat-bellies can afford a square-meal?

The competition out of proportion is, and the female young get tainted. Before they know what’s life.

Differences exist. Yeah a horde of variations. We all have opinions driven by motives. This is a story based on how most people, well lets say, don’t get the clear picture, the way we think is very much important. Thinking gives a human the direction on doing things maybe. Not just thinking, Positive Thinking.

We are told not to let our emotions get on our way, yeah I never was an analyst, not a political  analyst in the least. But this one is about politics.

The people we fight for, we get killed for, lose our eyes for,  cannot even lose a finger for us. Well maybe thats even too much to think of but yeah not even breathe can they purchase for us. You might be lucky if one of them was your mum or dad. But i bet its only a microfraction of this country would fall in the lucky-list. The times of Jesus are gone when a man died for another.

Well yeah, the disparities that exist. They are only politicians working to achieve whatever their childhood-adulthood goals maybe. The human mind is easy target on manipulation especially when your head is empty therefore creating room for everything ill one hear from these people.

Kenyan general elections 2017, just concluded. With a probably a few casualties, fighting for their own (preferred leader). Well, its allowed to express grievances, as far as I know but I guess, hear, is the most appropriate.

Try to figure out, when you take your body and flesh to the streets, throwing stones, spilling blood of your own flesh anyhow to the ground, probably these guys here are sitted, watching you fight for them. Thats, very sacrificial!!

When you break glasses that belong to your neighbours’ house, take it to the grave that, these bosses you fight for, have their mansions heavily guarded, they can afford it. Who is your guard? You fight for them, but they will always occupy the most secure, developed neighbourhoods what about you, the only place you can afford is a low class, insecure, underdeveloped slum available, probably.

These political enemies, are real life friends, their kids attend high class International Schools for that matter. Heavily equiped, most expensive schools. The likes of Brookhouse, Braeburn etc. And why not? Their Dads and mums are working, determined to make the lives of their kids better while someone is in the streets dying for them.

Their kids ride in the most expensive vehicles, probably for a common mwananchi to drive will have to auction a piece of land, which in this case will never be a choice.

Without even thinking much, just the last time you threw a party for your kid during his or her birthday, I bet you can remember when or most probably you never did. Some never even remember the day they were born.

Well i thought thinking is so important so far. Think of who you can fight for and not end up a loser while they gain. Someone who, fighting for makes both of you winners. Your neighbour is much far important than that leader you only watch on screens for them that are lucky.

No one is in a better position to change a country than you. Not the one in the lead, but the one following the lead. Its you and me.

They will never work for us, everyone does for own self. Not for the second being.

Think right if you wanna be right. If you wanna be wrong, you know the answer.

Probably before she could enjoy her blooming years, you came in.

Gave up her youth, because of you.

Probably gave up her time to enjoy maisha, to embark on a journey of bringing you up.

Probably, gave up her education because she would rather keep you.

Before she could enjoy her peaciful night sleep, you were there crying for attention.

Before she bought a pair of shoe for herself, you were there, she bought yours first. Her’s could wait.

The only coin she had, belonged to you. She paid for your education.

The only plate of food that was, she gave it up, for you.

You came first. Taking over all the joy she had. The monopoly of life she enjoyed. Because your happiness came first.

Losing her youth, to gain you. Feeling that it was enough for her.

She deserves better, just as much as you do.

Gone through an imperfect life, to perfect yours. She is not a preplanned list or a recipe of perfection.

More than a little appreciation is all she needs, worth the life she gave up for you.

Bringing back a smile to their faces. Going places to make you happy and content.

Whether dark or light, fat or thin, they are beautiful mothers. They think about you everyday; each passing second and minute.

When there is no one to turn to, they are there to hold you even when you’ve messed up.

Simply because that was their sacrifice of being a MOTHER.

Crushing the dream.

Opinions are better listening from people, may be friends, family etc. to keep up with the ups and downs of this life. It also requires a cocktail of courage, believing in oneself and having something to live up for, the dreams, the visions. Most importantly, never allow your opinion be swayed by what other people instil in you from their own lives or what they think is not right for them it might be right for you.
You came into this world alone, and I believe that we all want the best for ourselves. Its human nature, self love. You come first. Sometimes, hit by challenges that we didn’t choose in the first place, others are results of our wrong doings. We are left with few options to choose from.
Growing up, we had dreams, big dreams. The incredible power we had believing in ourself, being naive. Nothing could change what we believed in, not even a magnet changing the orientation of our dreams and visions. Having dreams, a good thing recommended even in the holy books. This is true because, what would we be waking up for everyday, every morning?
Surprisingly, as we grow older, some of these dreams start to fade away leaving us empty and void. Lost hope. I don’t know what it takes to live up for those dreams. Allowing them to fade, because we no longer believe in ourselves. Sorrounding our minds the word impossibility. More than believing, we need the faith.
Sometimes, we listen too much from the outside and forget what was, for the inside. Corrupting our minds, crushing the visions and dreams we have.
With this, I believe there is an unseen force that awaits and see how courageous we are, how much we mean by going for what we believe, to make things happen for us. But the moment we allow the word impossibility to reign in our lives we become limited, again to the limited opportunities of realizing our potential. We are left with an array of thoughts, complicated lifes and confusion. Our dreams become so pale, not able to pick what we want.
I believe we can make our dreams grow and also glow brighter with age, the power within should be greater than the power outside. Listening and learning, but also filtering what works best for our dreams and visions.
